Overview
In the Spring of 2025, the Hangzhou International Innovation Institute of Beihang University invites students to participate in this program. This program offers them a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in China’s dynamic scientific research environment. Students will gain hands-on experience in research labs, collaborate with international peers, and explore cross-cultural cooperation between China and France in the fields of physics, chemistry, and engineering.
The program follows a “7+3+2” structure: 7 days of research internship, 3 days of cultural exchange, and 2 days of industry visits. It is designed to enhance practical research skills, foster collaboration in an international context, and provide students with a deeper understanding of both the scientific landscape and cultural environment of China.

Dates: May 11, 2025 – May 23, 2025
The program includes:
7 days of research internship:
· Students will be assigned specific research tasks in laboratory settings. Tasks include experiment design, conducting physical and chemical experiments, data analysis, and technical innovation.
3 days of cultural exchange:
·Lectures on Sino-French scientific cooperation, cross-cultural communication in scientific teams, and the cultural differences between Chinese and French research environments.
2 days of industry visits:
·Students will visit leading Chinese companies and research institutes such as Geely, Sinopec, and other high-tech enterprises to understand the commercialization of scientific research.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
·Aged between 18 and 35 years old
·Registered student at an official educational institution (Senior High School/College/University/Other)
·Hold a valid passport of France, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Canada, Morocco, Algeria, or Tunisia
·Physically and mentally healthy, with no criminal record
· Currently enrolled in a university or institution in the field of physics, chemistry, engineering, or related scientific disciplines
·Interested in scientific research, cross-cultural collaboration and exchange

The application deadline is 07 March 2025, and no more than 20 participants will be selected.
