Overview
In Spring 2025, Hangzhou International Innovation Institute of Beihang University (H3I) offers a unique opportunity for students to experience life and study in China. This program focuses on Sino-French exchange in language, culture, and technology, providing participants with a deep understanding of Chinese society and culture while enhancing their cross-cultural communication skills.
With lectures by academic experts and interactive activities, the program allows students to explore a variety of topics, from Chinese tea culture to the development of China's aeronautical industry, all within the beautiful city of Hangzhou. Date: April 13, 2025 to April 21, 2025
The program includes:
· Seven lectures by academic experts on Chinese Daily Dialogues, Traditional Chinese Tea Culture, Chinese Calligraphy, Opportunities and Challenges in the Era of AI, Chinese Aviation Development and International Cooperation, Development of Aeronautical Industry, Sino-French Scientific Cooperation on Energy
· Six visits to major cultural and industrial sites, including two company visits followed by small-scale forums, and a session on Chinese New Rural Development
· Two interactive activities: Peking Opera Experience and Calligraphy Workshop
· Two cultural salons discussing Sino-French Cooperation in Technology, Exploring Cultural Similarities and Differences

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet all the following criteria:
·Aged between 18 and 35 years old
·Registered student at an official educational institution (Senior High School/College/University/Other)
·Hold a valid passport of France, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Canada, Morocco, Algeria, or Tunisia
·Physically and mentally healthy, with no criminal record
·Have a genuine interest in Chinese language, culture, and society
How to Apply?
To apply, please send a scanned copy of your passport, your completed application form (see at the bottom of the page), and your Proof of Study from your current educational institution to the following email address: panyu@buaa.edu.cn, with email subject: Name+Application for YES.
The application deadline is 14 February 2025, and no more than 20 participants will be selected.
