唐纳德·布鲁斯·丁韦尔(Donald Bruce Dingwell),GEOLAB实验室主任,主要研究领域为实验地球科学、矿物学、岩石学、地球化学等。Dingwell教授现为中国科学院外籍院士,欧洲科学院院士,加拿大皇家学会院士,德国国家科学与工程院院士,德国国家科学院院士,英国皇家学会院士,墨西哥科学院通讯院士,曾任慕尼黑大学矿物学和岩石学系主任、地球与环境科学系主任、实验火山学研究教授。Dingwell教授至今已发表学术论文500余篇,其中包括Nature文章8篇,Science文章1篇;在岩浆流变学的发展、火山喷发机理与过程研究发展,火山学跨学科国际合作等仿方面作出了突出贡献。自上世纪90年代以来,Dingwell教授与地质科学和地质材料领域的中国学者和科研机构开展了长期合作。

Donald Bruce Dingwell, director of GEOLAB, primarily focuses on experimental geoscience, mineralogy, petrology, and geochemistry. Professor Dingwell is currently a foreign member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, vice president and a member of the Academia Europaea, a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, a member of the German Academy of Sciences and Engineering, a member of the German National Academy of Sciences, a fellow of the Royal Society of the UK, and a corresponding member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences. He has previously served as the head of the Department of Mineralogy and Petrology at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, the head of the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, and as a Professor of Experimental Volcanology. To date, Professor Dingwell has published over 500 academic papers, including 8 articles in Nature and 1 in Science. He has made significant contributions to the development of magmatic rheology, the study of volcanic eruption mechanisms and processes, and interdisciplinary international cooperation in volcanology. Since the 1990s, Professor Dingwell has engaged in long-term collaborations with Chinese scholars and research institutions in the fields of geological sciences and geological materials. |

JIANG Chengyang, associate professor, was born in China on November 7, 1991. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering and a Master’s and two Doctorates in Materials Science and Engineering from Northeastern University and the University of New South Wales, respectively. His research mainly focuses on CMAS corrosion and protection of TBCs and high-temperature oxidation and corrosion of coatings. He was involved in postdoctoral research at Northeastern University and Beihang Hangzhou Innovation Research Institute. To date, he has received 4 projects from various foundations and published more than 20 papers in reputable journals, showcasing his expertise and contributions to the field. |

LIU Tong, associate researcher, began her studies at the School of Chemistry, Beihang University in September 2014, majoring in Chemistry. In September 2015, she embarked on a direct doctoral program after completing her master’s degree, focusing her research on the controlled synthesis of nanomaterials guided by electronic structure optimization strategies. Her work delves into the application of these nanomaterials in energy storage and conversion. Tong possesses extensive experience in in-situ electrochemical testing and is proficient in utilizing and analyzing in-situ XAFS (X-ray Absorption Fine Structure), Raman spectroscopy, and XRD (X-ray Diffraction) techniques. She has tracked the composition and structural evolution of the prepared materials during electrochemical redox processes, establishing a comprehensive mechanism analysis system. In recent years, she has authored a total of 11 SCI papers, including 2 first-author publications in top-tier journals (Q1 zone). Notably, one of her papers published in Advanced Materials has been recognized as an ESI Highly Cited Paper. |

FENG Min, associate senior experimentalist and master supervisor of Geological and Planetary Sciences Experimental Laboratories of Geomaterials Research Development Planning (GEOLAB), Hangzhou International Innovation Institute of Beihang University. In 2022, Min graduated from Northeastern University with a bachelor’s degree. During her postgraduate studies, she was a visiting PhD candidate sponsored by the China Scholarship Council at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore for one year. From 2022 to 2024, she started postdoctoral work at the Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her researches mainly focus on the design, development, and application of high-temperature protective coatings and self-lubricating composites, including enamel coatings and metal-enamel self-lubricating composites. Min is familiar with material analysis and testing methods including XRD, SEM, Raman, EPMA, XPS, TEM, FIB, and DSC. HU Zhijie, postdoctoral researcher at the Geospace Environment and Planetary Science Laboratory (GEOLAB). He obtained both bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees from Jilin University and conducted his first postdoctoral research at Zhejiang Lab. During his doctoral studies, he focused on the preparation and toughening mechanisms of bioinspired layered and “brick-mortar” structured metal-ceramic composites. His postdoctoral research primarily involves knowledge-data-driven approaches for predicting ultra-high temperature ceramic properties and composition design. During his postgraduate studies, he was awarded the graduate academic scholarship multiple times and served as the chairman of the bicycle association, organizing several long-distance cycling activities. During his doctoral studies, he led a team to collect CMAS samples from western and northern China, spending 3 months, traveling 28,000 kilometers, and collecting over 700 samples. His current research focuses on intrinsic characteristics of CMAS and non-destructive characterization of CMAS corrosion on YSZ coatings.
