平台已组建高水平国际化教师团队,具备丰富的国际化工程实践教学经验。团队持续带领学生在“冯如杯”“法国工业科学奥林匹亚科技竞赛”等国内外顶级科创赛事中屡创佳绩,彰显中法教育合作硬实力。科研创新同样成果丰硕,成立以来获批多项国家自然科学基金,更实现科研成果向主机厂所、航天研究所的高效转化,形成“教学促科研、科研反哺产业”的良性闭环。从人才培养到产业赋能,平台以全方位实力践行卓越工程师培育使命,打造工程教育与科研创新的标杆阵地。
As a core teaching and research hub focused on cultivating international talents and deepening the integration of science, education, and industry, the Industrial Science and Engineering Technology Laboratory (ISETLab) has established a comprehensive cultivation system underpinned by three distinctive laboratories, embodying the “Chinese Foundation + French Expertise + Global Frontier” approach. The Chinese Characteristics Engineering Training Laboratory addresses national strategic needs through a tiered training model of “foundation-advanced-innovation,” seamlessly integrating traditional metalworking, electrical, and electronic skills with cutting-edge modules such as smart manufacturing, digital twins, and robotics, thereby bridging the gap between engineering theory and practice. The French Characteristics Industrial Science Laboratory, jointly established by the Beihang International Innovation Institute and the French UPSTI, adopts a holistic “theory-design-manufacturing-validation” teaching process and a problem-oriented approach, encouraging students to engage in hands-on practice and enhancing their comprehensive analysis, innovative design, and problem-solving capabilities in complex engineering contexts. The Beihang-CentraleSupélec Carbon Neutrality Joint Laboratory (BCC Lab), a significant outcome of the consensus between the leaders of China and France, serves as a top-tier collaborative platform for technological innovation and talent development in the global carbon neutrality field. These three laboratories work in synergy, injecting diversified momentum into the cultivation of international engineering talents.
The platform has assembled a high-caliber international faculty team with extensive experience in global engineering practice and education. The team has consistently guided students to achieve outstanding results in top-tier domestic and international innovation competitions such as the “Fengru Cup” and the “French Industrial Science Olympiad,” demonstrating the robust strength of Sino-French educational collaboration. Research and innovation have also yielded fruitful outcomes. Since its establishment, the platform has secured multiple grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and has efficiently translated research achievements into applications for major manufacturing plants and aerospace research institutes, forming a virtuous cycle where “teaching promotes research, and research feeds back into industry.” From talent cultivation to industrial empowerment, the platform fulfills its mission of nurturing outstanding engineers with comprehensive capabilities, establishing itself as a benchmark in engineering education and research innovation.
