仿生界面材料科学全国重点实验室/仿生科学与技术科创中心聚焦能源、环境、信息等国家重大战略需求中的界面科学问题,利用仿生手段研究新型界面材料推进新材料与应用领域交叉,开发超低能耗材料的仿生创制技术,实现物质合成、能量转换与信息传输中的节能减排,取得国际影响力的科研成果,巩固仿生界面科学引领性,抢占未来技术制高点。仿生界面材料科学全国重点实验室/仿生科学与技术科创中心由首席科学家江雷院士牵头,面向国际学术前沿的关键科学与技术,依托北航仿生科学的前期影响力积累,瞄准国际科学前沿,开展面向学科交叉融合的研究,广泛开展国际合作,打通学科融合屏障,支撑化学、交通、材料、计算机、机械等学科的交叉融合、引智创新和产教融合,促进一批先进科技成果的应用转化,预期产生一批重大科技突破,在国际上开创系列前沿方向。

Driven by national strategic priorities in energy, environment, and information, we will utilize bioinspired approaches to research novel interfacial materials, thereby promoting the intersection of disciplines and the development of new materials with diverse application fields. This will enable the development of bioinspired technologies for ultralow energy-consuming materials, facilitating sustainable synthesis, energy-efficient conversion, and low-power information transmission. We aim to achieve internationally influential scientific results, to consolidate the leading role of bioinspired interface science, and to seize the commanding heights of future technologies. This platform, led by professor Lei Jiang, focuses on the key research directions on science and technology at the international academic frontiers, taking advantage of the accumulated influence of Beihang University in bioinspired science, aiming at the international scientific frontiers, carrying out the research oriented to the cross-fusion of disciplines with extensive international cooperation, overcoming obstacles of disciplinary fusion, supporting the cross-fusion of fundamental disciplines such as chemistry, transportation, materials, computer science, mechanical engineering and so on, and promoting the application and transformation of a batch of advanced scientific and technological achievements. Our mission is to achieve several major scientific and technological breakthroughs and establish a series of cutting-edge directions internationally.
