Julio Meneghini , a Full Professor of Applications and Principles in Mechanical Engineering at the Escola Politécnica, University of São Paulo. He serves as the Scientific Director of the Research Center for Greenhouse Gas Innovation (RCGI) and is a Full Member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC), as well as a Member of the Academy of Sciences of São Paulo State (ACIESP). He holds a Level 1A Productivity in Research Fellowship awarded by CNPq and received a DIC—Diploma of Imperial College in Aeronautical Engineering in 1993.

本研究系统评估乙醇作为长途运输氢能载体的应用潜力，重点分析巴西的生产优势并考量中国产业潜力。研究从热物理特性、能源需求、碳强度维度对比各类氢能载体，通过12种场景测算其全流程能量平衡与碳强度，并开展脱碳及能效提升相关敏感性分析。结果表明液氨、乙醇、甲醇是长途运输最优氢能载体输氢效率显著高于液氢;乙醇在全碳捕集条件下能耗表现更优，且具备碳强度负排放潜力。
