国际太赫兹科教协同平台面向世界科学前沿和国家重大需求,针对太赫兹领域缺乏高效率辐射源、核心器件和系统集成技术等国际公认科学难题与技术挑战,开展高功率强场太赫兹光源理论与技术、新材料与新结构太赫兹器件、太赫兹纳米和近场光学、太赫兹系统集成技术及应用等研究,以项目为载体,用高水平科学研究结合高层次国际学术交流,培养高质量太赫兹卓越人才,推动高协同转移转化,打造国际太赫兹科学研究圣地、人才培养基地、成果转化高低。
北航国际太赫兹团队的研究领域为强场太赫兹光学,主要面向强场太赫兹电磁脉冲在电子加速、物态调控、生物医疗、无损检测等方面的应用需求,聚焦超短超强飞秒激光泵浦铌酸锂等固体材料,开展高性能太赫兹强场光源及其应用研究。在铌酸锂太赫兹强源、新材料和新结构太赫兹器件、强场太赫兹应用系统等方面取得了一些原创成果。
研究成果总结
(1)揭示了超短超强飞秒激光泵浦大尺寸铌酸锂晶体,通过倾斜波前技术产生太赫兹辐射效率低的瓶颈问题,提出了克服太赫兹效率饱和的协同补偿效率线性化新机制,率先在国际上连续突破了1.4mJ和13.9mJ铌酸锂太赫兹强源(国际最高值为0.4mJ),将太赫兹单脉冲能量提升了两个数量级。

(2)开展了二维磁性材料与拓扑绝缘体异质结产生太赫兹辐射的研究,实现了超快太赫兹自旋流的室温产生和探测;提出了基于反铁磁-铁磁异质结交换偏置效应的无外磁驱动自旋太赫兹辐射新方法,克服了大口径自旋太赫兹辐射由于外部磁化不均匀引起的光束质量差的难题,获得了无外磁驱动的四英寸自旋太赫兹强场发射器。

(3)研制了强场太赫兹光源泵浦的多光谱探测实验系统,率先提出了将强场太赫兹脉冲耦合进入纳米超表面缝隙中,实现了上千倍的近场局域场增强的新范式,为发展更先进的强场太赫兹物态调控与表征奠定了实验基础。
